Home Improvement Loans up to $20,000 are available for roof repair/replacement, siding, windows, doors, additions, interior remodeling projects, heating/cooling systems, driveways, and more. Financing is available with 0% interest for qualified applicants with repayment terms of up to 15 years. The appraised value after project completion cannot exceed 100% loan to value.

And if that's not good enough for you, how about up to $10,000 forgiven by the Provo Redevelopment Agency for improvements made to HUD required items that do not add like value to the home, such as roof replacement, heating systems upgrade, electrical replacement, etc.

• THREE contractor or materials bids for work to be done
• THREE previous years of Federal Tax Returns
• THREE previous months of Bank statements
• THREE previous months of pay stubs or other income verification
• $20.00 cash or check for a credit report.
• Building permits from Provo City may also be required depending on the work to be performed.

Qualified applicants must:

• Own and reside in the residence (no rentals or income properties)
• Live in one of the target neighborhoods: Maeser, Joaquin, Franklin, Dixon and Timp. (See Map Below)

  

• Meet income requirements:

• All work must be complete within 6 months time, and repayment begins after recordation of closing documents.
• If the home is sold within two years of completion & recordation, a 6% penalty applies.
• The before and after value must be determined by a qualified appraiser.
